This marks that the company’s technology research and development capabilities, scientific and technological achievements conversion capabilities and core independent intellectual property rights have been recognized at the highest level by the country.
About the recognition of national high-tech enterprises
National high-tech enterprise certification is jointly reviewed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Administration of Taxation. It is one of the most valuable qualifications for Chinese technology companies. The identification criteria cover six major aspects, including core independent intellectual property rights, the ability to transform scientific and technological achievements, and the intensity of R&D investment. Enterprises that pass the certification can enjoy a preferential corporate income tax rate of 15% (10 percentage points lower than the standard tax rate), which is valid for three years.
